This initiative brought together 38 people from 6 different countries.
The objectives of the project were:
- To offer participants an understanding on climate crisis, recycling, deforestation.
- To come up with ideas on a low-waste lifestyle as young European citizens.
- To share the challenges young people face when it comes to living greener.
- To understand the impact of humans on the planet.
- To discover environmental sustainability in all participating countries.
- To increase cultural awareness between participants.
Participants’ views on environmental topics:
During the Youth Exchange, participants were asked to create posters, as shown below, that reflect their views on environment, sustainability, recycling, and zero-waste.
Group Clean-up:
A clean-up of an area in Limassol was also organized as part of the project. This event was in collaboration with City Friends Club and Polemidia Municipality.
